The must try whisky

Not many of us associate Japan with some of the world's finest distilleries but the truth is their whiskies have been winning multiple awards over the past few years. The most famous Japanese distillery Yamakazi, two time single malt of year winner, has added another feature to its crown. The 2015 Whisky Bible has named Yamazaki's Sherry single malt 2013 as the best whisky in the world.
Yamazaki competed not only against single malts from Scotland but also with American, Canadian and pretty much all global whiskies and came out on top. 

This makes it my next acquisition target to add some character to my unidimensional single malts collection.
